Beginning with a Single Tea Leaf from Pinglin

Ling-Si was born in Pinglin, New Taipei City, Taiwan.

Here, mountains rise on every side, mist drifts across the slopes, and tea trees are steeped in rain. For more than a century, Taiwan’s tea-making traditions have been nurtured by this generous land, day after day.

For people in Taiwan and around the world, Taiwanese tea has long been understood primarily as a beverage. Yet after a thousand days of research, we discovered an entirely new expression of tea. No longer confined to a cup or teapot, it revealed a natural viscosity and a moisturizing quality, leaving a transparent, delicate veil across every surface it touches.

This is the culmination of Ling-Si’s dedication—Tea Leaf Elixir™.

Ling-Si carries the terroir, time, and way of life of Pinglin within its creations. We translate the land into the character of each product, refine time into its essence, and write everyday life into quiet, familiar verse. Beginning with cleansing and personal-care products, we are opening a distinctly new chapter in the story of Taiwanese tea.

Three Years of Research, Concentrating an Entire Tea Tree

Ling-Si has devoted more than three years to research, formulation, and repeated testing. Beginning with the whole Taiwanese tea tree, each ingredient undergoes a considered series of processes—including dust removal, air-drying, refinement, extraction, maturation, and formulation—to create Taiwanese tea-based cleansing and personal-care products made for the people of Taiwan.

Through meticulous extraction craftsmanship, formulas developed in collaboration with professional researchers, fragrances blended by hand by experienced perfumers, and internationally recognized laboratory testing, we bring the botanical qualities of Taiwanese tea into shampoo, body care, and hair care—as well as the fragrance and everyday skincare collections still to come.

Ling-Si does not pursue complexity for its own sake. Guided by the principle of simplifying the complex, every formula seeks more than cleanliness, softness, and comfort. It embraces simplicity, restraint, and thoughtful reduction.

The roots of Ling-Si grow among the waters, mountains, forests, and mist of Pinglin.

A thousand days have passed. We now offer you the fruits of this land and of our everyday devotion.

The first buds of Ling-Si continue to take shape, day by day. From this moment forward, every tea tree is respectfully dedicated to Taiwan.
